Global Warming – science or religion?

Hi Brit,

Once again I wake up to more hype about Global Warming.  How fun.  Of course, it’s not reports on the science, since that no longer seems to matter.  The days where the facts and methods of the Global Warming Faithful could be questioned are long gone.  Now, if some one has the audacity to not be instantly converted they are set upon with religious like fervor.  Professors can loose their tenure.  Scientists can loose their research grants.  Politicians get hounded and ridiculed in the press.  And now, Weather Channel Climate Expert Calls for Decertifying Global Warming Skeptics.  Great, now we have not only fundamentalist Muslim terrorists, but also fundamentalist Global Warming terrorists.  Maybe they should go ahead and apply for church status, The Holy Church of Climate Change.  No wait; that won’t work because then it couldn’t be mentioned in the schools.

Not to be left out, the liberals are diving head first into fixing the problem.  Pelosi May Create Global Warming Panel & Bills on Climate Move to Spotlight in New Congress  Unfortunately, no one has figured out what the problem is exactly, let alone can say exactly what needs to be done to set things right.  Yet the Democrats are running full speed ahead, following the scent of votes, expanded Government, and new taxes.  Oh well, having a growing economy was fun while it lasted.

Righ, it’s a tactic that works on an uneducated population. “We have a crisis!” We have to do something (tax the hell out of oil and car manufacturers, so that they will give Democrats millions in campaign contributions to quiet them down).

You have to watch American Idol tryouts to see how dumb many Americans are.

See sadbastards.wordpress.com on global warming laughs.

    Hi Mick,

Nice to see you around. I’ve got sadbastards on my reading list, but hadn’t got to that post yet (too much news this week). Good one.

As to crisis tactics, didn’t they do much the same with the ozone layer and nuclear power? How many trillion did those cost the country?
