Say that in American, please.

Hi Brit,

I’m having translation problems again.  In, Snouts in the Trough : MPs’ Expense Fiddles, it says, “Loads of MPs are on the fiddle.”  From the context of the phrase, I’m thinking it means stealing by falsely reporting expenses.  If so, then it’s a great bit of wording that, unfortunately, I’ll probably get to use describing some of our politicians in the future.
