Virgin goes for budget

Hi Grit

Travelling the world is set to become even cheaper. Virgin boss Richard Branson is in talks with the former EasyJet boss in plans to set up a budget airline based in Asia. If it comes off, fares throughout the world from there could be as little as half those charged by regular airlines. For example, it is said that fares between Kuala Lumpar and destinations in China could be as little as £14 ($28).

If they could just do the same thing to transatlantic flights, I could just pop across for an evening meal my friend.
