The Russian event

The story of the Russian spy who died after being infected with polonium continues to rumble on, both in the UK and Russia.

The latest from Russia is that there are now two people in hospital suffering from the same poisoning, one of them being a man the UK police want to talk too. The also believe that there are traces of the nuclear agent in our embassy there.

In the UK, three more people have been found to have traces of the poison inside them, and a friend of the Russian’s is in hospital. Traces have also been found in a hotel.

What happened to all this talk about it not being a problem and there being nothing to worry about? Does the whole of the medical profession think we are nuts?

Personally, I would be grateful if whoever is wandering around London with a bottle of polonium, would book him or herself on the next plane to Moscow.
