I think we would have a major problem in the UK if one was compelled to vote. As around 40% don’t bother, that is about 24 million people to deal with.

The government cannot threaten them with prison, as these are overcrowded and police cells are being used to house the overflow. You can’t take them to court as it would result in a situation where cases would take over four years to be heard, by which time there would be a second election they hadn’t voted on and the whole scenario starts again.

What do we do???? By jove! I think I’ve got it. Why don’t we charter a few hundred boats and send them all to Australia like we did in the olden days?
