Hey Grit

The good old European Commission is considering making it legal for us in the UK to be able to buy our cigarettes and alcohol from anywhere in Europe. Bearing in mind that Cigarettes in the UK cost around £5 ($9) a packet of twenty, where in Latvia they are only 70 pence ($1.3), this represents a staggering saving.  Mind you, if this goes through, it is set to cost the government the best part of £15 billion.

Now where did I put that Latvian phrase book?
