The physics behind 'warming seas = more chance of nastier storms' is pretty much high-school stuff. Saying that the IPCC have 'bought into Gore's propaganda' is simply astounding ignorance. The IPCC report was written by almost 1000 genuine, peer-reviewed climate scientists. It's hardly surprising that the one or two people who disagree with them are regarded as the whackos is it. It's like the old joke about the guy driving down the highway complaining that there are thousands of cars driving on the wrong side of the road.
